For those of you who followed my live-tweeting during Marketing Profs B2B Marketing Forum, I hope it was helpful.
And for those of you who unfollowed me, I understand…My output has caused another Social Media Hangover. There was just so much great content and so many amazing people, I was like a kid in a candy store.
But the good folks who ran the show gave us “10 Imperatives To Chart A New Course In B2B Marketing” to help me get through this recap blog post before I collapse.
The Future of Marketing
I was recently directed back to an article from late last year in Fast Company magazine called The Future of Advertising by Danielle Sacks.
In the article, she talks about the impact of the changes that digital technology, social media and real-time expectations are having on the advertising industry.
And it got me to thinking about the marketing industry as a whole. What does the future of advertising mean for the rest of us? There are a number of great lines from this article that I’d like to excerpt in order to paint a picture of the coming revolution in marketing
And hopefully this will help you to see if you are ready!
9 Things I’m Looking Forward To At Marketing Profs B2B Marketing Forum
Once a year I try to pick the most exciting conference with the best speakers to help me expand my thinking on B2B Marketing, to make new friends and connect with folks who I know only on Twitter, Linkedin or Facebook.
This year, that show is the Marketing Profs B2B Marketing Forum next week in Boston. While I was excited to sign up, I could have never imagined all these smart folks would be in one place, for the same event. While I promise not to tackle them, or stalk them (too much) I am looking forward to meeting each one of the people below and all my fellow B2B Marketing colleagues.
