Augmented Reality For B2B Marketing in 2011?

If you’ve ever seen Star Trek, Minority Report or just about any other movie based in the future, you have seen augmented reality in use, albeit in a future vision. According to Wikipedia, augmented reality is defined as “a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery.”

Whoa – quite a mouthful! But with all the talk about this new technology and 2011 digital marketing predictions, I started looking for answers to whether augmented reality is something that will have some impact in 2011.
